"Tanya has been fantastic! She is super reliable and trustworthy. I have had to go out of town a lot and I hate leaving my Matilda and Clover behind. But now I feel so much better when I have found Tanya. She is very sweet and caring. I have the highest regard for Tanya. She took such wonderful care of our babies. I am very pleased with her services and her prices are very reasonable. She is very friendly and adaptable to our needs. Coming home after my weeks away the house looked great and my four-legged family was in good hands. This made it much easier being away and knowing there will be someone that gives my pets lots of love and affection. She also brought in our mail, cleaned the doggie waste from our backyard, watered plants, and documented her dog's walks with photos. I received daily e-mails telling me that my pets were doing well. This letter is written to anyone interested in hiring Ms. Tanya Repkina as a house and/or pet sitter.  To put it quite simply, “Grab her as quickly as you can!”  Her work ethic and love for the animals in her care is wonderful.

We needed someone who would be willing to stay in our home for two weeks while we were on vacation.  Believe me, this is not an easy situation to fill.  When we interviewed Tanya, it was quickly evident that she loves animals and that she would take her responsibilities very seriously. 

We have a small dog and two large cats.  The cats have always been very skittish and tend to hide around strangers. We told her she might only know they were around when the food disappeared.  However, after only a few days, she sent us e-mails of her holding both kitties!  (The e-mails were gratefully received and a little extra that she provided unasked.)  It was easy to see they were well cared for and loved.  She also administered medications that had to be given to the dog and one cat, and walked the dog.

Our home was as neat (maybe neater) and clean as when we left and all our plants were alive and thriving. 

Tanya proved to be a “godsend” for us and we will not hesitate to call on her in the future.  I am sure she will take care of your pets and/or home as competently as she did ours.

Tanya is a very kind and gentle person and we believe animals can sense this. She truly does care about animals and thus, is very suited to her occupation. She is prompt, trustworthy, reliable, competent and we will definitely use her services again. We cannot think of anyone else we would rather have to stay in our home with Maxie.

When Tanya provided care for our "puppy", we had her arrive during the day and we did not return until very late at night. She stayed awake to tend to the needs of our dog (and did not expect him to sleep through the night) and upon our arrival, gave us a full report of his day including how much he ate, slept etc.

Actually, she is more like a babysitter. She takes care of our dog like a  good babysitter cares for a child. She is there to provide care and comfort in his home--not merely to provide the minimum care like when being boarded.

Some animals have anxiety when their owners go away and like to be near someone who is compassionate.
Our dog, is of that type and is quite particular about whom he is comfortable around or will even let touch him. It took a short while for him to warm up to her, but soon he seemed perfectly comfortable around her and even ate while we were away. In fact, he did not want her to stop with the belly rubs! 
This is very important to us; especially at this time, because he was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and has lost quite a bit of weight. We would not have left him if at all possible--but felt assured that we had left him and our home in her very capable hands.
He desperately needs to eat to maintain his strength while his immune system battles the cancer--so any undue stress and loss of calories is of great concern. He is on a special diet, so we prepared his meals for her to feed him.
Most importantly, she seemed able to soothe him to feel at ease--enough so that he would not forgo his meals during our absence. 

Additionally, Tanya was very understanding, flexible with our individual needs and was happy to accommodate our special requests.

We believe we have found a treasure in Tanya, and are quite sure you will feel that way, too.

Tanya sent us an in- depth email our first night away detailing all that she had done, from cleaning litter boxes to providing fresh water to all bowels.  Tanya followed all of our pet care instructions exactly as we provided. Then when we arrived home, we received yet another detailed report of all that took place and occurred in our absence. Tanya and Mike sat for our little cat Phoebe while we were on vacation for a week. They are very professional and they did a great job of taking care of our pet.  I would recommend them without hesitation – they are fantastic!!! They also watered our plants and added water to our pool.  What a relief that we did not have to board our pet.  She got to stay home; in her own environment stress free!! If you are in need of an amazing, caring pet sitter I found the best! You truly cannot find a more loving, caring pet sitter than Tanya!

In December 2013 I researched several pet sitters to take care of my babies while I went to Europe for a month. I researched Pet Sitters International and contacted all pet sitters that were listed. Long story short I found Tanya who is certified with Pet Sitters International, Insured and bonded.

I was hoping to find someone that simple liked my dogs and would take good care of them but instead I found someone who loved and cared for them just as much as I do. I did not think this was possible until I met Tanya. She lived in my home for one month and provided 24 hr service while I was in Europe. She feed my babies twice a day, gave the necessary meds, played with them, slept with them, she basically repeated my lifestyle with them while I was away.

My two babies are Austin and Bentley who are 15 yrs & 5 yrs old. Anytime I had a pet sitter throughout their life they would get sick because they would get sad and are incredible attached to me. They don’t eat as much and they always got diarrhea. However, this was the first time they did not get sick because she did everything the same and she gave them constant love and attention daily. I also have a rescue cat and dog, that is four pets that she took care of. The one rescue dog I had Sheba I rescued from the OC Animal shelter it was obvious that Sheba was abused as she did not trust people, but was very loving. However, after spending time with Tanya my rescue dog completely bonded with Tanya so much that she asked to adopt her. When I seen how Sheba loved Tanya I could not believe it, as much time I spent with Sheba she did not respond to me the way she did with Tanya. Sheba is now living with Tanya and very happy.

Tanya has an incredible way to connect with animals that I have never witnessed. She truly has a great love and passion for animals and they can feel it with her.

When I would ask other pet sitters if they can send me photos and I could skype with my babies while on vacation they would say it’s not necessary. However, Tanya recommended Skype and when I was away I could see how happy my babies were which melted my heart. She also sent me weekly photos.

She was very thorough in taking notes, and came to my house a couple of times to go over everything before I left town.

The true test was when I came back from my trip, to watch how they would act around her and how they looked. Well believe it or not when I got back they were excited to see me but kept going back to Tanya. The next morning when it was time to eat rather than coming to me to feed them as they always had, they went up to Tanya, Austin scratched her to let her know it was time to eat. I could not believe how much they bonded and loved her.

When Tanya left they kept going to the door looking for her. Pet sitters can say what they want but how dogs respond to the pet sitters shows the truth. Because of this bond they created and the way she loves them I have since hired her to come once a week to take them out for a couple hours to spend time with her because they love their time with her. I have NEVER allowed anyone to walk or take my babies in their car, never not even my own family. Tanya is the only person in their entire life that I trusted enough with taking them, driving them in her car and walking them.

I recently got a call from Tanya about her going to a client’s house for a normal pet walk appointment and her client was not responding for a very long time so the police were called and unfortunately found her client dead. They were going to take his dog to the shelter but Tanya did not let them. Rather she took the dog to her home and gave him lots of love because he was very sad and confused of his owner passing. She called the family and they said they could not take the dog. Tanya will try to find a loving home for this dog but said if she is not successful in doing so she will keep the dog because she does not want it to go to the shelter. Most people would have let the police take the dog, but not Tanya, not on her watch!! J

We have a cat named Daisy who Tatiana cared for while we were away on vacation for two weeks. Our daughter rescued Daisy from her Grandmother's back alley in Amarillo, TX about five years ago. Daisy was a special kitty with eye problems and she is still very skittish with people she does not know. 

I will comment on Tatiana's personal qualities that we feel are most important for her success in her pet care business. While there is an abundant of people who are in this line of business, we found Tatiana to be a genuinely warm and caring person who is committed to do exactly what's needed for your pet. She knows both the care and individualized attention needed for your pet and will hold true to her promises. We trust her and believe in her as a person. Tatiana consistently returned phone calls and emails promptly. Tatiana fulfilled all of our needs in caring for Daisy and also watered our plants while we were away. In both pet care and house sitting, Tatiana is clearly the best, trustworthy and organized.
